[SSCs-Counselors] Greetings

Currently, there is a bill trying to get around the issue of ss# required
for licenses. It's House Bill 2292 Immigrant Access to Driver's Licenses in
Massachusetts. I believe it's in the early stages but it aim is to allow
alternative documentation such as a tax I.D. # to be used in place of the
ss#. There is a lot of conterversy around the bill so it's not a definite.

That's also a major problem in our Waltham program. We face many
questions on how to obtain a driver's licence without Social Security
Number. I have read that there are changes on the way. Does anybody know
details???
