MS Powerpoint can be an extremely helpful tool for use in classrooms or
in any situation requiring a projected presentation.
SABES West has made 8 seats available to ABE practitioners in an Intro
to PowerPoint training being offered by CareerPoint at their offices in
Holyoke, MA. The training will take place on July 16th, 2008 from 9:30
to 12:30. If you would like to participate please register and see

Overview
This event is open to anyone wishing to get started using Microsoft
PowerPoint.
Details
Using PowerPoint (3 hours) Note: A good grasp of general
word-processing skills is required. PowerPoint is used for making
presentations to groups. Learn to create multi-slide presentations
that encompass text, graphic and sound. Become familiar with
animation techniques for slides and elements on the slide.
Proficiency with Word is required for this workshop.
