[Sabeswest] Introduction to MS Excel Feb 6 9-11:30

MS Excel can be a tremendously useful application but has an interface 
that can be off-putting to the casual user. This training will introduce 
participants to navigation, data manipulation including calculations and 
functions, charts, and ways it could be used in class or in a program.

What: Introduction to MS Excel
When: February 6, 2008 from 09:00 am to 11:30 am
Where: HCC KC 224

Learning objectives

       1. Understand basic terminology associated with Excel
       2. Start the Excel program and open sample files on a diskette
       3. Perform the basic functionality of each example on the provide
          diskette, such as:

            * Resize columns and rows
            * Basic formatting: font & color
            * Simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
            * Creating a simple budget
            * Create a chart using the chart wizard.
