[Sabeswest] COGNOS 8: The New Look and Feel

Hi COGNOS users (or intend-to-users),

As you may have noticed in the last ACLS mailing, COGNOS is undergoing a 
big update.  This isn't just some little behind-the-scenes 
transformation either, it's a significant change.  On June 28th I'll be 
giving a preliminary orientation to the new COGNOS here at HCC.  This 
will be especially useful to those of you have reports in COGNOS 7 that 
you would like to see in the new and improved version, as all reports 
are going to have to be manually rebuilt. At the end of July we'll be 
having a COGNOS Update as well, which will serve as an introduction as 
well as a look at the Federal Reports and Performance Standards. Stay 
tuned for that.
