This four-hour workshop, from 12:30-4:30 p.m., is for those who have applied

for the professional level of the Adult Basic Education Teacher's License,

who are assembling their performance portfolios, and who have

questions or need clarification about the portfolio process. After a brief

overview of the process, tips will be shared to assist licensure candidates,

including selecting appropriate materials, frequent stumbling blocks, and

time management strategies. We will also discuss the use of coursework v.

experience, teaching demonstrations, and provide sample portfolios.

Registrants must identify the SABES region at which they will attend the

workshop (Boston, Southeast, Northeast, Central, West) and contact the appropriate

SABES region for directions to their video-conferencing facility.
