    "This I Believe Writing Workshop"  Join Glenn Yarnell from the HALO Center as he leads people in a creative writing workshop using "This I Believe" materials.  Everyone (or, each program) who attends will receive a copy of the book, "This I Believe."  If you don't teach writing but love to write, then just come and have fun!

    Don't miss this opportunity to engage in conversation with two national trainers, following the "Undoing Racism" model.  Margery Freeman (who has worked with The People's Institute for Survival and Beyond - www.pisab.org - and currently works with ProLiteracy Worldwide and Kate Hymes, Director of the Hudson Valley/Catskill Partnership (NY):  Regional Adult Education Partnership will present an all-day workshop, "Understanding Racism:  An Effective Strategy for Addressing the Performance Gap in Adult Education."   We are thrilled to have Kate and Margery visiting Western Mass!  This workshop is for anyone who is interested in examining how to make adult education classrooms and programs equitable for all students.
