The INTERNATIONAL LANGUAGE INSTITUTE in Northampton, MA has a part-time ESOL
teaching position available beginning in early September.

This is a year-round Mass DOE Grant Funded Position, $20.60 per hour, 12 hours
per week.
 
This position will provide High Intermediate/Low Advanced ESL (SPL 6-7)
instruction, Monday and Wednesday nights, 6:00 to 9:00 pm, for a total of 6
hours of instruction per week. The remaining hours consist of preparation,
assessment, counseling, intake, staff meetings, and staff and professional
development. 
 
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and experience in Adult Basic Education; TESOL Certification;
strong written and interpersonal communication, technology and community
outreach skills; ability to work effectively and flexibly with a diverse
faculty, staff, and student body.
 
Preferred Qualifications: 
MA in TESOL; awareness of other community resources for referral; experience
working with and educating diverse groups; Polish, Portuguese, Russian, French
or Spanish speaker.
