Please join SABES and Class Action for a two-part workshop that looks at issues of class in ABE classrooms and programs....

Have you ever wondered if some of the cultural differences in your classroom and program have to do with class?

Could developing greater class cultural literacy improve your teaching?

Beyond race, does class matter?

    This workshop is highly engaging and participatory.

DATES:  Friday, October 12, 2007 and Friday, December 7, 2007 at Holyoke Community College, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  It is mandatory to attend both sessions of this workshop.

PRESENTERS:  Felice Yeskel, Executive Director and Co-founder of Class Action, Hadley, MA and Rhonda Soto,, Coordinator of Class Action's Race/Class Intersections Programs.
