Did you know that Massachusetts has a free statewide Adult Literacy
Hotline, funded by the Department of Education, that provides
information and referals to adult learners looking for programs and to
volunteers looking to offer their services as tutors? Did you know that
you can access this information 7 days a week either by phone or
online?

The Hotline has information on close to 300 ABE programs across
Massachusetts. When callers contact the Hotline, we give them the names
and phone numbers of programs in their local area. Adult learners and
potential volunteers can get this information either by calling
toll-free: 1-800-447-8844 (TTY: 1-800-956-8401) or by visiting the
Hotline's searchable online database at www.sabes.org/hotline.

Please help spread the word about the Massachusetts Adult Literacy
Hotline and make this resource available to everyone.

If you know of a program that you think should be added, please let us
know. We are constantly adding to and updating the list. Send the
information to Leah Peterson at lpeterson at worlded.org.
