ESOL INSTRUCTOR (PART-TIME)
(Grant Funded position)

Grant funded position (November 2006 - June 2007), 
$21.85 per hour, 11 hours/week, 30 paid teaching weeks.

This position will provide Beginning ESOL (SPL 0-4) instruction, 
Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 9:00-12:30am, 
for a total of 7 hours of instruction per week, plus 4 hours 
preparation, assessment, and staff and professional 
development. 

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and experience teaching ESOL in 
Adult Basic Education. Strong written and interpersonal 
communication, technology and community outreach skills; 
ability to work effectively and flexibly with a diverse 
faculty, staff, and student body.

Preferred Qualifications: 
Experience working with and educating diverse groups, 
such as Portuguese, Latino, Polish, Brazilian, etc.; 
knowledge of and experience working with the greater 
Ludlow community. TESOL Certification, language proficiency 
in Portuguese, Polish, Spanish, Turkish, or other language 
reflected in our student population a plus.
