POSITION OPENING Immediately: Bilingual GED COUNSELOR

The bilingual Spanish/English GED Counselor will be responsible for initiating the intake process and providing orientation,
academic counseling and ongoing student support services. S/he is also responsible for doing follow-up, entering and updating
student data in the computer.

Hours: Monday-Thursday 11:30 AM - 4:30 PM.

Position is funded by a two year grant: $20.00 per hour for 20 hours per week for 45 weeks per year.

Qualifications: B.A. in Counseling or Education or related field; bilingual-Spanish English; excellent communication and
interpersonal skills; excellent time management skills; computer skills.
