[Sabeswest] Citizenship Forum in Springfield

The MIRA (Massachusetts Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy) Coalition has arranged to get some of the folks from the Boston USICS field office to come out to Western Massachusetts for a forum (we learn more about them, they learn more about us) next week: Thursday, December 7th, 2006, at the Springfield Library.

It's a chance to meet and talk to the CIS field office director, assistant director, and community liaison officer. You can learn about the Office or Refugees and Immigrant's new Citizenship for New Americans Program, hear more about naturalization requirements and legal issues, see a mock interview, voice your concerns (especially on behalf of immigrants in Western Mass.), and ask questions without waiting on hold all day or driving to Boston! There are more details in the attached agenda.
