GOAL SETTING IN THE CLASSROOM

Setting effective, realistic and attainable student goals should beat the center of every ABE and ESOL program. This workshop provides practitioners with hands-on opportunities to learn how to integrate student goals throughout their programs, with a focus on classroom practice.  In order to get the most out of this workshop, it is strongly recommended that you be familiar with the MA DOE Countable Outcomes policy.

When: Friday, February 2, 2007 , 10:00 - 3:00

Presenters: Diane Worth (ESOL instructor at the Center for New Americans, noted for its focus on learner goals) and Dori McCormack (SABES-West Curriculum and Assessment Coordinator)
