The one-day seminar will bring together 60 practitioners and learners from Canada and the United States who have done tremendous work on this issue - to learn from and to inspire each other. Thank you.
Mev Miller, for SABES
Also:
This one-day seminar precedes a two-day conference (March 9-10, 2007) hosted by WE LEARN, a small organization based in New England. The theme for this year's annual women and literacy networking conference is, Threads of Experience: Creative Spaces for Women's Learning. If you are unable to attend the Pre-conference Seminar, or are just beginning to consider these issues in your program, the seminar participants will be making a presentation about their discussion during the conference. WE LEARN promotes women's literacy as a tool for personal growth and social change through networking, education, action and resource development. We hope you will also participate in the conference. NOTE: All practitioners will have to register on their own and pay the regular registration fees. A conference flyer and registration form can be found at: http://www.litwomen.org/conference.html
