Literacy Works of Hampden County is seeking a coordinator
who will continue to promote the literacy efforts of ABE, local
businesses and workforce development organizations in the 
greater Springfiled area. We would appreciate your help in 
spreading the word to your colleagues regarding this employment
opportunity. If you have any questions about the LW collaborative
which has been active in Hampden County since 2003 please feel

     Do you have a passion for promoting Community Literacy

You will build collaboration with community agencies that provide Adult Basic Education, 

ESOL and GED preparation, and coordinate services with community colleges and the 

workforce development system.  You will work with a highly professional staff team to 

promote the need for expanded literacy services, and be supported by a dedicated group 

of business and community leaders.  You will be highly visible in the community and will 

be able to use your creativity and communication skills to help advance literacy as a key 

community and economic development issue.  



Competitive Salary. Flexible work schedule of 30 hours or more per week.
