Hello Friends and Colleagues,
What are you doing Monday, June 13th at 12 noon? I am writing to
encourage you, your staff, clients, volunteers, interns, family, and
friends to join us for a rally at City Hall in downtown Manhattan. The
purpose of this rally is to urge city and state leaders to increase
funding and support for Alternatives to Incarceration (ATI) and Reentry
Joining the Fortune Society will be members of the The New York
Alternatives to Incarceration/Reentry Coalition

incarcerated men and women. As you are aware, ATI programs are vital as
they help to save lives and break the cycle of incarceration while
saving tax dollars. However, recent state and federal budget cuts have
already forced ATI/Reentry Coalition organizations to close at least 25
programs and downsize numerous others.
Please share this email with your networks and join us at noon on the
13th to show your support!
All the best,
