Hi,

I'm just checking in to find out what might be a 'hot'
issue for this discussion on involving business in
partnerships as a way to get it moving ahead.

Or, perhaps time constraints are so tight that simply
doing the assessment has been the priority, and
involving businesses is left for later, or not at all?
Or, that you simply don't have time to participate?

If you DO have time and are interested, please let us
know what might be some issues that your partnership
is grappling with.

I'm wondering if the issue is not which businesses to
approach but rather, how to approach them.

Meaning, what makes it worthwhile for businesses to
become involved in an assessment or a partnership?

What might be some of the 'cultural' differences
between business and nonprofits that makes it hard for
businesses to participate (for example, the timing of
the meetings)?

Or, If businesses can't participate in regular
partnership meetings, what are alternative ways for
them to become involved in the partnership?

Please let us know!

Thank you,

Lisa
