I am a "sometimes voice" on this list. This caught my eye. I want to encourage
all involved with adult literacy and learning to read P. Freire's texts on
pedagogy. They are an extraordinary exploration into social justice and literacy,
so important in these days when our civil liberties and democratic life are in
danger. Sandy Berman, a retired Minnesota librarian, turned me on to these
works. I hope you will explore these thought provoking works.
Peace,
