[NLA] Request for input - Professional Development Competencies

Dear Colleagues,

PRO-NET 2000 provides the adult education and literacy field with up-to-date
information about professional development resources, materials, and
activities.  Since the PRO-NET 2000 web site was launched
(www.pro-net2000.org), we have drawn upon the field's expertise and
experience to enhance the quality of professional development and to foster
continuous program improvement.

The PRO-NET 2000 team is in the process of refining competencies for
professional development coordinators.  We would like to thank the many
members of the NLA listserve who took the time to contribute and provide
input during the initial stages of this process. We are once again ready to
hear your feedback.

Here is your chance to contribute to the development of comprehensive
professional development systems.  If you haven't already done so, register
now at (www.pro-net2000.org). Take a few minutes to respond to PRO-NET
2000's REQUEST FOR FIELD INPUT on professional development competencies.
Your input is very valuable as we continue to develop materials for the
