Putting adult learners in the shoes of corporate decision makers continues the tradition of work-related education that assumes common interests among workers and employers. Learners in adult ed classes are likely to have more in common with the factory workers paid sub-standard wages in other countries, and may have been in that position themselves, either in their countries of origin or here in the U.S. It seems that the new project is not duplicating LINCS and the work of our field, rather it is running counter to how many of us see that work.
