Dear Heidi,

I couldn't agree with you more.  I have read the Tyler/Sum report. The inequities in public education systems are clear and have been for years. Less investment in public education results in less pupil achievement. Adult education is one attempt to redress the balance.  

I sound like a religious tract here and I don't want to.  I think it is short-sighted to disregard the effects of infusions of cash on student achievement and student outcomes, whatever the age. I don't think it is a bad idea to draw attention to the obvious.
