[NLA] Re: Request for Advocacy Documents

Dear Advocacy Colleagues,

I am looking for 3-5 advocacy documents that you feel are crucial to making 
the case for adult literacy.  I am thinking of "Jump Start" for one.  What 
would you suggest for educating a person who wants to advocate, knows little 
about the field, and who knows nothing about federal initiatives supporting 
adult literacy?  I am looking for a packet of "must read" suggestions. Many 
of you have been in the field longer than I have and I am sure have been 
moved to action by documents you have read.  Thanks for any help you can give 
me.
