Perhaps the NCL would be willing to bring to the NIFL Board's attention 
that if positions become available, the field's priority is to have 
representation on the Board from adult learners and adult literacy 
practitioners.

Jose, could you tell us more about MEDAL: who has organized this, how 
many MEDAL literacy networks there are, what they do, what impact they 
are having?
