[NLA] Urgent Action: Help Preserve NIFL's Adult Ed Focus!

I called my representative's local office this morning, and they said they'd
contact the person who handles education issues in D.C. When I hadn't heard
back by this afternoon, I called D.C. and spoke to that person. She knew my
name, was very friendly, and said she was waiting to see the Dear Colleague
letter and would e-mail me to let me know what action was being taken. This
was after almost a week with no response to my e-mail. I've also asked
friends and colleagues who aren't on the NLA list to send e-mails.
Today I learned that the follow-up phone calls (especially the one to D.C.)
are probably what gets the action. Do any of the politically savvy list
members have tips for getting results?
