[NLA] Hello Everyone

Hi everyone...my name is Lisa Forster and I have recently subscribed to this 
list. The reason I have subscribed to this list are twofold...I am a 
graduate student at the University of South Carolina earning my Masters of 
Social Work degree. In order to fulfill the requirements of the program I 
have to intern at an agency. Last year I was an intern at a literacy 
council. So, that's where my interest in literacy began.

The second reason I have joined this list is b/c I am currenlty enrolled in 
an internet advocacy course that is taught completely over the web. As part 
of our grade, we have to join an advocacy based listserv. In my searching 
for the appropriate advocacy listserv, I came across this group. 
Periodically, I might ask a few questions that I will relay to my classmates 
(I won't use anyone's name for privacy reasons).

Anyway, I'm really excited about this class that I'm taking and about become 
active with this listserv.
