NLA friends:
Let me add my congratulations to Daphne Greenberg. She is a wonderful colleague (we are both faculty in the College of Education at GSU) with a strong sense of social justice. I can't think of anyone more deserving of this research award.

Colleagues,
I think this is potentially fabulous news. I am thrilled that "one of our
own," Daphne Greenberg, the moderator of the Womenlit listserv, has been
chosen. If you go back into the archives, for those who are not on the
Womenlit listserv, you will see that she is not only within the field but
espouses many of the points of view that those who are teachers and
administrators, hold. I am also tickled that we have the South represented,
a region often overlooked in major studies. Good going, Daphne!
Andrea
