[NLA] A clarifying note

Dear Eileen,

I am interested in your observations;  however, I find it hard to understand 
and separate out what you mean from what you don't mean, for example, your 
remark about your own views as "tired and trite."  Could this be a 
regional/cultural difference that shows up in writing to the list?  There are 
a lot of different writing styles, here, that's for sure, reflecting 
different backgrounds, ways of expressing ideas, and political/advocacy 
perspectives.
