[NLA] First Scientific Research on ABE in US (long)

Dear Tom,

Thank you so much for your research note!   Your wide experience in the field 
is  invaluable, once again you have popped into the conversation an eye 
opening real life example at just the right time.

I was talking before coming to my computer and reading your note, with one of 
the graduate students who lives in my home, about the use of innovative 
technologies in mass markets.  Here we have a description of a program from 
the thirties, and the innovation was the use of blocks of times and a 
boarding situation--total immersion, really.  I am convinced we can do better 
by our adult students than we are currently doing.  Thanks for the reference!
