[NLA] ACTION Deadline: Please Fax and call your Senators today

NLA Colleagues,

We did well in the House with the NIFL Director Dear Colleague letter. 
But we need the Senate, too.  We have today -- and maybe tomorrow -- to 
get our Senators to sign on.  It's a short timeline.  We're all busy 
with other pressing responsibilities.  But now is the time to move this 
to the very top of your list.

Thanks to those who have already faxed. Please call your Senators. 
(Yesterday, you may have noticed, was a busy day in the Senate, and you 
may have had to leave a message for the Senator or an Aide.  Call back 
today to ask if your Senators have signed on.)

Jon Randall, please keep updating us on which Senators have signed on -- 
this helps when we talk with our own Senators.

And, everyone, please remember to mail copies of your faxes to the 
Secretaries of Ed, Labor, and HHS.

At the end of the Senate campaign, I'll post another honor roll to the 
NLA list.  We'd all like to see your name -- and your Senators' names -- 
on it.
