The newest Change Agent (Adult Education for Social Justice: News, Issues
and Ideas) published in Sept. 2002 is titled Focus On Creativity and Change.
This issue includes "writing on what helps us prepare ourselves for moving
toward activism".The mission of the Change Agent is to provide, in the form
of a low-cost newspaper, news, issues, ideas, and other teaching resources
that inspire and enable adult educators to make civic participation and
social justice related concerns part of their teaching and learning.
Article of interest in the current issue include among others: Breaking
Barriers with Humor, "I am" The Voice of Graffiti, Who Am I Really: Making
Masks in the Classroom, Sculpting Relationships: Examining the Politics of
the Literacy Classroom, Theater For Social Change, The Soundtrack to
History, Participatory Theater Techniques and Improvising and Orchestrating:
A Poem Play.
