[NLA] Phoneme Awareness is the Key

Tom,

I think it would be very interesting to hear a little bit about how you got 
involved in Truespel.  I have noticed that people on the list servs often 
have an involvement with a topic before they come into teaching or 
administration, and they use a personal interest to engage more deeply with 
the field and become advocates. We can push our hobby horses pretty hard.  Is 
this true in your case?
