In addition to the general session and roundtable discussions that will be 
led by the AMA, the New Readers for New Life of Illinois Conference, which is 
patterned after the past national Adult Learner Congresses, also features 
three rounds of "home bases" and two rounds of workshops all led by learners 
in Illinois programs.  While the conference is planned and led by adult new 
readers and is for their benefit, they also invite, indeed, encourage tutors, 
program staff, spouses and other family members to attend as well.
