Maria, First of all, my comment about there being one opinion...I did not 
feel comfortable expressing my opinion. Whe I did. I was told "you wouldn't 
understand, you're not black." There was a definite attempt  to put down any 
opinion which did not support the boycott. Secondly, the  morning after the 
roundtable discussion The Charlotte Observer, the local newspaper, reported 
how unhappy some local NAACP leaders were with the national leadership about 
the boycott. They (the locals) insisted that  supporting tourism was more 
important than supporting the boycott...this from the Charleston black 
leadership.The issue for me has now become a non-issue...I'm moving on...
