I am curious about that too, (point about only one view being explored). Could you share some more for discussion. Also, did you bring up a different perspective and what was the response?

Thank you for sharing news about the COABE Conference and in particular
about the planned workshops on racism, poverty and literacy.  But I'm
curious about your comment that "only one point of view was accepted as
valid".  Could you elaborate on that for those of us who did not attend?

I am also puzzled about your comment that local NAACP members had encouraged
you (or perhaps the organization?) not to boycott SC.  I thought the NAACP
had instituted such a boycott?
