Hi, Jay (and other NLA friends):

You're apologizing to me?  I reacted, too!  Your point was very well taken...and your experience in advocacy is much valued.  We do need to be cautious about being pawns in the political game, while, at the same time, helping our representatives serve our cause in ways that are productive and sensitive to the political interests of similar agents of influence.  We have to be cautious at both ends.  Yikes!

And, besides, my political preferences were also exposed!
