[NLA] follow-up to a proposal to "save" the NIFL

Colleagues,

These are not flush times, there are budget deficits all around the country, 
and the US gov is going into deficit.  If there were a lot of money around I 
might support Andy's plan, but I can't at this time.  Nothing wrong with kid 
lit, might open up some lines of activity for NIFL; also, always useful to 
know what other folks are doing.  Good idea to try educational partnerships, 
even if some of the partners are as prickly as cactus.
