[NLA] National Literacy Day?

Hey M Cecil Smith -

It IS interesting, isn't it. How about THIS one?! There's ANOTHER one! A
Family Literacy Day in the first week of November!! In our area we Vy for
media attention between Sept. 8th (which our community-based literacy
program celebrates because our Mother Organization - Laubach - got us
started) and the Celebrity Reads to a Child of the Even Start program
celebrating Family Literacy Day -- right across the STREET from us!!

Isn't this hilarious? Can't we get it together somehow??? I'd like to have
the celebrations all one day because when the literary clubs come rollin'
around sometime after the first of the year THEY celebrate a national
literary day. Even MORE confusing.
