[NLA] NIFL Board nominees

"I think in the interests of not getting bogged down in voting on
nominations 
we instead push for 1) nominees that reflect the focus of NIFL as legally

mandated and 2) a voice for major organizations in our field, such as
NCL, 
VALUE, etc. to propose nominations.  They can then open a discussion on
the 
nla list that asks for names form the field." 

Yes, that seems reasonable to me. At this stage any reasonable coherent,
organized, consensus-based and implementable strategy is better than the
status quo in order to respond to this short-term problem which has
long-term implications.  

Hopefully a plan will be up and ready by the weekend with implementation
processes to begin next week.  One presumes that time is of the essence
here.
