[NLA] NIFL Board nominees

Andy has written an important contribution to the discussion on this 
listserv.  His post, and that of Bob Bickerton, have roused me from a kind of 
paralyzing despair about this.  I think Andy gives us a clear direction and a 
legal as well as a political reason to act.  Perhaps, in addition to the 
letter from the NCL, this listserv could circulate a letter, or sign on to 
the NCL letter that Andy suggests.  If we do not do something, we are, as 
Andy says, setting a dangerous precedent.  Are the state directors interested 
in doing something as a group or in signing on to a letter from the field?
