[NLA] NIFL Board Nominees

Kathleen and others, 
I, too, don't know any of the nominees. I too am concerned about representation from ESL and representation from the Adult Education field. I see that one of the nominees is from a community college, but I wonder if the rest aren't K-12.

I just read the list of NIFL Board nominees. I know one of the nominees, and her area of expertise is early childhood. She directs the Head Start and Early Head Start program for our region. Does anyone know anything about the other nominees? I expected to see some nationally-known names from adult ESL/literacy, possibly even researchers. Maybe I am just unfamiliar with their work, and with information, I could become familiar.
