[NLA] Discussion: Working effectively with the media

I really like the idea of using adult learners to speak about adult literacy, 
they would be ordinary people that adult learners might identify with.  
Anyone have any data on whether sports stars or other celebrities would be 
more or less effective models, as compared with ordinary people?
