[NLA] New Years Resolutions

Eartha Johnson, full-time student coordinator, wrote a list of 10 New
Years Resolutions for adult education/literacy programs in Illinois. I
thought others on the list would like to read what she wrote.
Incidentally, Eartha is also a learner in our program.

1. Listen to what the students have to say.
2. Get students to conferences.
3. Have students do fund raisers so they can go to these conferences.
4. Invite students to be on your boards.
5. Invite students to talk at tutor training.
6. Connect students with other students.
7. Hold a potluck for the students.
8. Find out what the students are good at.
9. Have students call other students.
10. Let students teach other students.
