I agree with David Hayes about this opportunity to raise consciousness
about the ambient racism we passively or actively avoid noticing in our
lives. When attention has been drawn to my own oversights, in a way that
allows me to process them without shame, it has allowed me to make great
leaps in self-awareness and social analysis. I'd be happy to work with
others on a flyer that would not only educate about this particular
situation, but also prompt people to reflect on what they see/don't see
and why.
