The Annual Review of Adult Learning and Literacy, Volume 3  will be
published next week. Published by Jossey-Bass, this informative volume
includes a review the major policy and implementation activities of the
year 2000, a history of the U.S. Adult Education and Literacy System, a
review of the literature on adults with learning disabilities, an
overview of literacy assessment in ABE, a discussion of adult numeracy
in the U.S., an exploration of recent efforts to professionalize the
field of ABE through teacher certification, and a look at areas of
interest in Family Literacy.
