[NLA] NIFL Board nominees

Debby,
Your NYC letter to the President about NIFL Board Nominees is right on 
target. At the Coalition meeting in DC on Feb.7 there was a long discussion 
about  how to appraoach this issue, ie no adult ed nominees. A lot of 
material from this list was part of the discussion. By material I mean 
comments made over the last 2 weeks. In a week or so, the letters that will 
be sent to the White House and the Senate Committee Chairs will be posted on 
this list...There was a generally agrssive tone taken by most members. 
Everyone on this list ought to be very rpoud of the fact that your concerns 
and comments are very much a part of the COALITION discussion on this and
