research. It discusses issues in what have been called the "paradigm

and ways to assess the quality of qualitative research, provides 
suggestions for choosing and using qualitative techniques, and describes
a 
variety of approaches and how they are being used in adult, career, and 
career-technical education. A glossary, annotated bibliography, and list
of 
resources useful for qualitative research are provided.
