Dear Colleagues:

I know that the following are practice rather than policy questions, but
I'm hoping that David will indulge me.  If you have ideas, please respond
directly to me.

I'm working with our local Comite de Educacion Basica en Espanol and have
two questions for those of you who are providing Spanish literacy and GED
en Espanol classes:

1) What standardized assessment instruments do you use to pre and post test
students?  What are the instruments' advantages and drawbacks?

2)What are your best sources and recommendations for reading/writing/GED
teaching resources?

Any suggestions that you can send my way would be greatly appreciated.
