Good heavens, I made a bilingual pun and didn't know it.

Fra = "brother," or friar.

Fray = 1) fight, scuffle, brawl;  2) to unravel

I agree with Andres as much as I know about Freire.  His work might be read 
in tandem with Fanon, "The Wretched of the Earth," as they both were 
concerned with internalized colonization.
