[NLA] to make NIFL board nominations

The NIFL web site does list the Board members but it would be helpful if it
also indicated the term expirations as well. This would provide interested
parties with time to plan, a more complete picture of the board and avoid
last minute scrambling. I would imagine that those who had this information
earlier have already done all of their homework and placed names in
nomination.

Posting the board terms right on the web site ( If they are there I missed
them ) would facilitate this for all.

This may be old news by now, but I've been advised by one
knowledgable source in Washington that the best way to make NIFL
board nominations is to send letters of nomination to The Honorable
Rod Paige, Secretary of Education, U.S. Department of Education.
Letters can also go to HHS and Labor Secretaries Chao and Thompson,
though Paige is probably the pivotal person.  Since the President's
nominations will be made next month, I'd urge that your nominations
go out as quickly as possible. If I get any additional advice on this
over the next week or so I will post it here.   GS
