NLA Discussion: literacy and undiagnosed learning disabilities

I have long been interested in the issues of literacy.  One that has not been
mentioned yet in the limited discussion is the problem of illiteracy among
people with undiagnosed learning disabilities. This problem may be very hard
to diagnose if people are not literate in their native languages whether US or
foreign born.
